The traditional approach to safety leadership is changing to an approach called "doing safety differently". The shift is from leader-led or compliance-focused, to building ownership from the ground up.
An emphasis is now on developing leaders to have better conversations by helping them focus on what is working rather than what is not.
In this talk, I will share examples on how we use Solution Focused conversations in the construction industry to change the way safety is viewed. And the impact this has on the culture, if leaders change the way they have conversations.
